SubSeaSail® Accessories

We engineer SSS vessels and sensors for simplicity and protect them with patents. As a result, our top-of-the-line, unique, long-duration unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) are reliable, easy to use, and incredibly cost-effective systems for any number of ocean uses.

Electromagnetic Field (EMF)

SSS is developing a “B” field + “E” field dual sensor package.

Handheld Controller with Joystick

Allow vehicle management to be passed to an authorized “on-site” person to be able to launch, recover, land, and manage the vehicle in close proximity to a port, dock, or shore.

Mast Head Electronics (MHE)

Configurations from basic with AIS (Automatic Identification System), anemometer, and navigational lights up to more comprehensive units, including 360° color cameras and classifiers.

Passive Acoustic Arrays (PAM Arrays)

SSS developed PAM arrays will work natively with the PAMELA sensor hub.

Sensor “Slices”

An easy way to integrate new sensors into the front of the lower tube.

Weather Station

SSS vehicles can gather meteorological and oceanographic data above and below water.

Wingsails

Wingsails appropriate to the size of the vehicle and electrical power needs. Users may purchase one or more additional sails depending on expected wind conditions and power requirements.

Third-party Accessories

Iridium Certus

Upgrade from standard Iridium SBD modem to permit the transfer of larger amounts of data
